Export data from Web of Science (WoS) for the PuRe import

Web of Science is a scientific database. To export records from the "Web of Science" portal, proceed as follows:

Open the “Web of Science” portal at the URL: https://www.webofscience.com/wos/woscc/basic-search. (If you are not within your institute's IP range, you must connect via VPN.)
Perform your intended search.

Tip: For publication searches within the organizational structures of the Max Planck Society, the following queries are recommended: https://www.biochem.mpg.de/6667039/Tabellen

You will receive a list of results and can export the entire list or select the results you want to export on the left.

Select the “Plain text file” option from the export drop-down menu.

Additional export options will appear:

If you are exporting the entire list of results, you can now specify an export range.
In the “Record Content” field, you can select which data to export.

To import the data into PubMan, perform an import with the WoS file (.txt-format). For more information, see chapter "Import records" .
